Camp helped shape me into the person I am today and taught me to love myself, be independent, to be unique, and to come out of my shell. I made a second family there and Taconic is home to me. It is my favorite place on Earth and I want to give others the opportunity to experience the camp magic!

Camp provides many unique opportunities and creates memories that last a lifetime. SCOPE is a incredible organization because they turn dreams into realities for children who wouldn’t normally be able experience these incredible moments in camp without financial assistance.

I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without camp. It has shaped my character and taught me things as simple as how to do hospital corners when making my bed to more complex things like how to make special, lifelong bonds with my friends who turned into my sisters. SCOPE provides this amazing experience to under privileged children who normally wouldn’t be able to attend camp!

Since the day I was born, camp has been a part of my life. The time I have spent at camp is something I wouldn't trade for the world! We are so lucky to be able to go to camp and I want to give this same opportunity to those less fortunate than us!

Ever since I started going to camp my life has changed. Camp has given me my second home where I can be myself and feel safe. I want to provide many less fortunate children with the same opportunities that I have been given.

Camp is my second home where I have made friends for life. I truly wish I could be at Camp Pontiac all year round. It has taught me so many important lessons in responsibility, independence, and loyalty. I am so happy get the opportunity to go to camp and I hope we can send more kids to camp to have the same amazing experience that I do!

Camp is the best place to be where I’m with my best friends and have the sickest 7 weeks of my life. I would do anything to be at Camp Pontiac all year round! The memories I made there are life changing and I want to help others experience these great times!
